These Community Guidelines are Draft v0.1 for Founder Review and Legal Review. They are Not Attorney Reviewed, Not Board Approved, and Not Published. They are not legal advice and are subject to applicable law and attorney verification.

Purpose

These guidelines define proposed expectations for respectful participation in Florida Principles PAC public programs, volunteer spaces, events, digital forums, and community engagement channels.

Scope

These guidelines apply where the PAC hosts, controls, or moderates a public or participant-facing space. They do not control independent third-party platforms except where the PAC administers a PAC-branded account or group.

Definitions

• Community space: A PAC-hosted or PAC-administered public, volunteer, event, or digital participation environment.
• Participant: A visitor, supporter, volunteer, member, candidate, guest, or other person engaging in a PAC community space.
• Moderator: A person authorized to review participation or enforce community rules.

Policy Statements

The PAC should encourage principled, civil, fact-aware participation. Participants should treat others with respect, avoid personal attacks, distinguish fact from opinion, and use public channels for their intended purposes.

The PAC may establish additional rules for events, volunteer roles, candidate engagement, public comments, or online groups. Those rules should be consistent with these guidelines and reviewed before publication.

Responsibilities

Participants are responsible for their conduct. Moderators are responsible for even-handed review, documentation, and escalation. The Founder or designated owner approves final community standards.

User Rights and Responsibilities

Participants may ask questions, raise concerns, report misconduct, and request review of moderation decisions. Participants should provide accurate information, respect privacy, and avoid disrupting others.

Prohibited Conduct

Prohibited conduct includes harassment, threats, doxing, discrimination, impersonation, spam, malware, persistent disruption, knowingly false claims about PAC actions, unauthorized recording where prohibited, and content that violates applicable law subject to attorney verification.

Review and Enforcement

The PAC may issue reminders, remove content, restrict access, remove participants from events, suspend volunteer participation, or escalate serious conduct for legal or safety review.

Corrections or Appeals Process

Participants may request review of an enforcement action by contacting the PAC with the date, space, action, and basis for appeal.

Records and Retention

Incident reports, moderation decisions, warnings, appeals, and related evidence should be retained according to records policy.
