Draft Notice

This Governance and Board Publication is Draft v0.1 for Founder Review and Legal Review. It is Not Attorney Reviewed, Not Board Approved, and Not Published. It is not legal advice and is subject to applicable law and attorney verification.

Purpose

This publication defines proposed standards for public-facing governance and board information, including how governance documents, leadership roles, committees, and approval status should be presented.

Scope

This publication applies to the public governance page, leadership references, board and officer descriptions, committee descriptions, governance library links, and public explanations of governance status.

Definitions

• Governance publication: Public-facing content about governing documents, structures, roles, approvals, and review state.
• Board information: Public information about board structure, authority, members, vacancies, or approval status.
• Draft governance material: A governance document not yet adopted or approved.

Policy Statements

The PAC should clearly distinguish adopted governance from draft governance. Board rosters, officer names, committee assignments, and approval status should not be published unless approved and verified.

The public website may serve as the Founder review and future publication surface while the Governance Library remains the canonical source repository.

Responsibilities

The Founder or governance owner approves public governance language. Document owners maintain source paths and version records. Technical owners preserve source-to-route mappings.

User Rights and Responsibilities

Users may review published governance materials and report broken links, status errors, or source inconsistencies.

Prohibited Conduct

The PAC should not claim board approval, attorney review, adoption, membership rosters, or officer authority unless verified and approved.

Review and Enforcement

Governance publication pages should be reviewed before release and after governance changes. Errors should follow the Corrections Policy.

Corrections or Appeals Process

Requests should identify the governance page, document, status claim, and requested correction.

Records and Retention

Version records, approvals, source mappings, publication decisions, and correction records should be retained.
