These Terms of Service are Draft v0.1 for Founder Review and Legal Review. They are Not Attorney Reviewed, Not Board Approved, and Not Published. They are not legal advice and are subject to applicable law and attorney verification.
Purpose
These terms describe proposed conditions for using the Florida Principles PAC public website, public forms, informational pages, PoliticalPedia interfaces, and related public digital services.
Scope
These terms apply to visitors and users of PAC-controlled public web pages and public submission features. They do not replace separate contribution terms, vendor terms, platform terms, campaign-finance requirements, or legal notices that may apply to specific transactions or activities.
Definitions
- Website: PAC-controlled public web pages and public digital interfaces.
- User content: Information, text, files, comments, or other materials submitted by a user.
- PAC content: Website text, graphics, data presentations, pages, documents, and other materials published by the PAC.
Policy Statements
Users may access the website for lawful civic, informational, participation, and engagement purposes. PAC content is provided for public information unless a page states otherwise. PoliticalPedia content is civic information and should not be treated as legal, financial, campaign, or voting advice.
The PAC may update, suspend, remove, or correct website content as part of ordinary operations, governance review, publication controls, or legal review. Draft governance materials are not adopted policies unless expressly marked as approved and published.
Responsibilities
Website administrators maintain reasonable operational controls. Users are responsible for their own conduct, submissions, device security, and evaluation of information. The Founder or designated owner is responsible for approving final terms before publication.
User Rights and Responsibilities
Users should use the website lawfully, provide accurate information, respect intellectual property, avoid disruption, and review related policies. Users may contact the PAC about errors, accessibility concerns, privacy questions, or content issues.
Prohibited Conduct
Users must not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with website operation, submit malware, impersonate others, harvest information, harass participants, submit unlawful content, evade moderation controls, or misrepresent PAC statements or endorsements.
Review and Enforcement
The PAC may review suspected misuse, restrict access to public features, remove submissions, preserve records, refer issues for legal review, or take other appropriate action subject to applicable law and attorney verification.
Corrections or Appeals Process
Users may submit concerns through the contact page. Appeals should identify the affected page, submission, decision, or restriction and explain the requested review.
Records and Retention
Operational records related to website use, submissions, moderation, corrections, and access controls may be retained for accountability, security, and compliance purposes subject to retention policy and attorney verification.
